Rushcliffe Borough Council has thrown the book at three negligent landlords who let their tenants freeze while they collected the rent. Rushcliffe successfully prosecuted the three owners at the magistrates’ court on Monday 15th February.

BANDS ROCK FOR CRIME VICTIMS
A charity gig by two of Nottingham’s top bands, Splinter Cell and the Mucky Pups, raised about £400 for Victim Support in Nottinghamshire. All the proceeds will go to help victims of crime in Nottinghamshire, as well as witnesses at court. The event was at the Britannia Boat Club by Trent Bridge.

Between April and November 2009, there have been 10,342 fewer offences, a 13% drop compared to the same period in 2008.
