BUS WAR EXTENDS TO COTGRAVE
Competition on Rushcliffe’s bus services has increased further with Premiere announcing a new service for Cropwell Bishop and Cotgrave. The company, that runs head-to-head in Radcliffe and Bingham with established operator TrentBarton, will launch the Red2 on 5th September – which is a direct service linking Cotgrave with the Victoria Centre.

CHEAPER BUS TRAVEL FOR FANS
Fans attending Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club’s forthcoming Twenty20 cricket games at Trent Bridge can now get cheaper bus travel. The club and Premiere Travel have teamed up to offer fans half-price family tickets if they show the driver their season ticket or matchday ticket.

Nottingham City Transport have introduced extra buses on Clifton routes 1, 4 and L53 to meet growing customer demand. These buses support existing services by providing extra capacity for increasing numbers of students using public transport to get to school or university.

WEST BRIDGFORD RESIDENTS WELCOME NEW BUS SHELTERS
A community scheme to place two bus shelters on Rugby Road in West Bridgford, has been completed by Nottinghamshire County Council. The scheme aims to give people, elderly people in particular, protection against the wind and rain when they are waiting for their bus.
