ALVIN STARDUST TO VISIT CLIFTON

A 70s rock/pop legend is to perform at Farnborough School in October. Alvin Stardust will support Nethergate School’s fundraising efforts on Thursday 4th October. The school is having a major refurbishment and new build in the next year. Part of this includes the creation of a space to develop
a sensory room. The room will cost about £20,000 to equip and the concert will help to raise money towards this. Other fundraising events included PC Wallis’s Ironman Challenge in July. He swam two miles, cycled 100 miles and finished by running a marathon. His sponsorship money will be donated to Nethergate’s sensory room. Farnborough School Student’s Council very kindly donated £400 to the fund in June which they raised as part of a non-uniform day.
