LOCAL BUS & COACH OPERATOR EXCELS AT UK RALLY

When Cropwell Bishop-based bus and coach operator Sharpes decided to enter the 58th UK Coach Rally for the second year running, it wasn’t a decision that was taken lightly. The two-day rally held at the East of
England Showground in Peterborough attracts the elite of the bus and coach operating industry, together with their supply chains from across the nation.
Those striving for the silverware and awards embark on days of painstaking vehicle preparation which aren’t for the fainthearted. Sharpes won three awards and trophies in the following classes:
Alan Goodwin Trophy – Highest Placed Coach Operator In All Classes.
Peter Bostock Trophy – Highest Placed Driver in Saturday Driving Test (Neil Sharpe).
Top Coach Aged Five Years or Older.
