REVIEW OF POLLING DISTRICTS, PLACES AND STATIONS
Rushcliffe Borough Council has completed a review of polling districts and polling places as required by the Review of Polling Districts and Polling Places (Parliamentary Elections) Regulations 2006 that came into force on 1st January 2007.
The details of polling arrangements in the Rushcliffe District are available for inspection at Rushcliffe Community Contact Centre, Rectory Road, West Bridgford, Nottingham, NG2 6BN. Following the conclusion of the local authority’s review individuals have a right to make representations to the Electoral Commission within six weeks from the date of this notice.
The Commission will only consider representations that the review process has not been conducted correctly, has failed to meet the reasonable requirements of the electors in the constituency or has failed to take sufficient account of accessibility to disabled persons of the polling stations within a polling place.
