LEGION HELPING OUR TROOPS
Clifton Royal British Legion have donated £500 towards getting toiletries, sweets and magazines for the armed forces, who are serving our country abroad. There are quite a few men and women serving this country and they are not able to get those everyday items they require.
One of the Clifton British Legion members, Graham Johnson, who was assisted by his wife Sharon, set out six months ago to help the troops. They put a collection box in the British Legion and members could donate these everyday items. The club are now letting the people of Clifton pop into the club to donate any items the troops might need. If you are not sure what can be send, someone at the club will be able to assist you. So pop along and help our troops.
