NEW FLOWER EVENT
Flower Power Fairs will be holding their first gardeners’ plant fair at Holme Pierrepont Hall on Sunday 27th March from 11am-4pm. Set in 30 acres of tranquil parkland beyond the National Water Sports Centre, the beautiful Pierrepont Hall is one of Nottingham’s most beautiful places.
However, it is famed for its magnificent spring gardens with magical displays of snowdrops, daffodils, tulips, aconites and hellebores. Over the past few years the family have also planted many specialist winter flowering shrubs, so the gardens are awash with colour in early spring.
The plant fair will be held in front of the Hall and brings a mouth-watering selection of specialist plant growers from the North and Midlands, offering a huge choice of herbaceous plants, shrubs with particular emphasis on colour and shape, climbers, lilies, herbs, heucheras, shade loving plants and ferns. Entry to the fair, gardens and grounds is just £3 and parking is free. Refreshments are available overlooking the Grade II listed Courtyard Garden and the House will also be open (charged separately). A reminder, the event takes on place Sunday 27th March from 11am until 4pm.
