PEDESTRIAN CROSSING NEEDED
We feel that there is an urgent need for a controlled pedestrian crossing on Southchurch Drive, close to the Rivergreen Medical Centre. There are times when we stand, hearts in mouth, as people alight from buses and then attempt to run the gauntlet directly across Southchurch Drive.
There is a refuge type crossing at the junction of Rivergreen, but sadly this is often ignored. While there may be other dodgy spots on the estate, there is a disaster waiting to happen here.
