MEMBER BEATS CANCER AND IS BACK IN THE GYM

David Allam, an Expressions member at Cotgrave Leisure Centre, has recently beaten oesophagus cancer and is returning to his gym one year after successful surgery and treatment. Before the operation David was a regular user at Cotgrave and felt it had a positive effect on the cancer.
“I know being a regular customer this helped me beat the dreaded illness and aided my recovery,” he said.
David is now well into remission and, as part of the recovery process, is looking forward to undertaking a new fitness programme with his fitness instructor.
Rob Mills, fitness manager at Cotgrave Leisure Centre, added: “We look forward to David using the facilities again and will help him with any future goals, as we do with all our members.”
The Expressions brand boasts an array of facilities across five sites in the borough of Rushcliffe. These are at Cotgrave Leisure Centre, Bingham Leisure Centre, Keyworth Leisure Centre, Rushcliffe Leisure Centre and Rushcliffe Arena.
