SHOW SOME MORE PRIDE
It is with some dismay that vandalism is still operating along the Cliff Walk, with chestnut fencing being either ripped out or broken, in order that dogs are able to run beyond the fencing up and down the cliff face.
People are always finding fault with the younger fraternity with either graffiti or similar out of order happenings, but the culprits of the needless vandalism of the chestnut fencing are residents of Radcliffe-on-Trent, who should, at their age know better.
The majority of dog walkers along this area of Radcliffe are normally retired, or in their 30s to 40s. What would they do if they saw young teenagers ripping this fence out or breaking the wood in two – there would be shouts of indignation of course. So lets treat our village and walks with the pride we should do, instead of lowering the standards to yobbish behaviour.

Reference letter from SM concerning vanalism on Cliff Walk. My experience has been that children do take down the Chestnut fencing in order to play on the side of the cliff. When I remonstrated with some boys I was told that they were going into the Army!!! Is this how they are trained?
