RADCLIFFE ANTI-LITTER PRIDE DAY

Following the success of the same event last year, Radcliffe-on-Trent Parish Council is to stage another Village Pride Day. This year’s event will take place on Saturday 31st July. Local residents are being asked to join local councillors for an organised litter pick and clean-up session in the village, with the event being based at The Grange.
Volunteers will be asked to join councillors from 10am on the Saturday morning to go off into the village for an hour to pick up litter and weeds etc. Everyone taking part will be provided with gloves, a litter snatcher and a black bag for any rubbish they collect.
Coffee and biscuits will be served in The Grange for those returning after their 60-minute collecting stint. Meanwhile, the black sacks will be returned to the start point, and from here they will be collected by the Rushcliffe Borough Council Streetwise team.
