LIGHTS CAMERA ACTION FOR RADCLIFFE CHILDREN

Children at Radcliffe-on-Trent Junior School learnt the art of film making during three days of workshops at the school in March. Pupils were taught how to run a film set and produce a video of the school’s production of ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’. The workshops were led by actor Colin Wells and Nottinghamshire-based company Interaction Film, who deliver workshops in community and corporate settings to encourage communication skills, literacy, confidence and team building.
Colin has been a regular face on television for 25 years. He is best known for his roles in Hollyoaks and Crossroads, as well as regular features in Casualty and The Bill. Radcliffe Junior School and Rushcliffe Borough Council’s Cultural Services team worked together to run the workshops.
Colin said: “It was very exciting working with the school and the children on their production, and I would like to thank Rushcliffe for bringing us together.”
