PRECEPT CUT FOR KEYWORTH
Keyworth Parish Council will cut its precept for 2010/11 by 1%.
A spokesperson said: “It’s a tough decision which takes into account the circumstances that some people are in. However, we still intend to deliver and develop the services we currently provide.
“We can do this by continuing to provide value for money and by attracting funding from outside sources. In the current year we were awarded two grants from the Nottinghamshire County Council Safer Communities budget; £1,000 for the artistic graffiti at the skate park and £1,956 for the new security fence at the play area.”
