CLARE’S SKYDIVE RAISES MONEY FOR CHARITY
Clare Woolley of Clifton jumped out of a plane at 13,000 feet to raise money for the charity, Help for Heroes. Her tandem Skydive took place at Langar Airfield as she helped raise money for a charity close to her heart. Clare’s boyfriend is in the army and she wanted to give something back, after hearing the stories of him and his colleagues, who risk their lives on the battlefield.
Clare told The Local News: “The jump itself was awesome and the staff at Langar were thoroughly professional. I even made it onto BBC Radio Nottingham to talk about my skydive.
“I have much pleasure in announcing my total raised was £4,131 and I would like to thank each and everyone who either sponsored me or put into a collection box. The money will go a long way to making our injured servicemen & women’s lives much more comfortable.”
