FRIENDS OF BRIDGFORD PARK ACTION FOR ALL

The Friends of Bridgford Park are putting together the next phase of their plans to encourage wildlife and bring colour into the Park and Bridgfield. The date of Saturday 30th January has been declared for the next Action Day.
Paths will be laid, brush will be tidied and many bulbs and trees will be planted. This will brighten up the woodland area next to Albert Road.
The Group Chair, Linda Philips, said “This is our second Action Day which is part of the Building Safer Communities project funded by Nottinghamshire County Council. I am excited to see what a difference Voluntary Action can make, especially when coupled with the help of Rushcliffe Borough Council staff.
“Everyone is welcome to come and help. We are hoping families with children will join us again in making our park even more beautiful.
“We also aim to create a welcoming environment for birds, bats and other wildlife.
Additionally thanks go to Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust for their valuable advice and continual support.”
