BLOGGERS WANTED BY RUSHCLIFFE BOROUGH COUNCIL
Residents in Rushcliffe are being urged to take advantage of an initiative where they are given the opportunity to help shape the future of the borough. The Big Picture is Rushcliffe Borough Council’s consultative process to generate reaction from local people about the future of the borough of Rushcliffe.
A council spokesman says that they want everybody to be involved: “There are a number of ways they can do this, particularly with regular blogs.
“We’d like people to send us a blog at least every fortnight covering any topical subjects – from housing to transport, from thoughts on the World Cup to green spaces.
“The campaign is aimed right across the board – from children to business people – with age not an issue. We invite our residents to be as thought-provoking as they want.”
Interactive video kiosks are also available to be booked for free visits to the likes of local village halls, parish councils, supermarkets and schools. For full details on The Big Picture visit www.thebigpicture-rushcliffe.com
