STOP SMOKING CLINIC AT COTGRAVE LEISURE CENTRE

Cotgrave Leisure have launched a new Stop Smoking Clinic on a Wednesday evening from 6.30pm to 8.30pm with their fully-qualified New Leaf Advisor. The service is completely free and offers support for people wishing to quit, including vouchers for free Nicotine Replacement therapy which can be redeemed at local pharmacies. Nottinghamshire NHS are working closely with the leisure centre and have provided funding for the scheme, comprehensive staff training and on going support.
Kris Gregory, Health & Fitness co-ordinator at Parkwood Leisure, said: “One of the motives for many of our customers joining the leisure centre is to stop smoking and live healthier lifestyles. This is a great opportunity to offer support to anyone wishing to quit.
“This service is completely free and available to anyone. As an incentive we are offering a free seven days pass to customers who quit for four weeks or more. The pass can be used at any of our five leisure centres and includes access to swimming, fitness suite use and over 110 classes per week across the five centres.”
